CAL syntax question

I have been a programmer for a long time (C#,VB, JS, etc)  and am looking to get one or 2 basic questions about CAL syntax answered. 

I'm not sure if this is the place for such an inquiry so I thought I should ask before posting the actual questions



HSC III
