Each version of Sonar has had an Owners page I just thought some may not have known that. CW isn't calling it that this time but how I got to it was by deleting the 8 and putting in X1 to the web address.

Actually it also links to a lot of information on X1.

After Re-reviewing ALL the previous A,B,C and D updates/fixes,it is impressive, and both a concern, that SO MUCH work has been done, and has had to be,for X1 to be working as well as it does now.

I must admit,to feeling like I may have been a bit harsh in a couple of recent posts, regarding my-"No More Tools,Just Make It PRO" statements, after trying to fully realise the effort that must go into each update, and that, that effort, must be TRULY immense!

    All apologies bakers

Bob I don't think you have anything to apologize for. You are a paying customer therefor you have a right to high expectations.

I was lucky in that X1 has not given me any trouble that I couldn't handle. X1 D is a wonderful version.

Being on the forum for so long I have seen so many things over the years that I don't get upset with a first release of a CW product. I know in time it will work out and that most of the time the bugs that get reported often don't effect me directly. I do know that when a bug does effect your work it is a problem.

One bug that seems to be gone is the solo MIDI problem where after a solo the meters don't work on the muted tracks. I reported this some time ago and they said it would get fixed. They did not say when. I reported this back when 7 was around.

What I had to remember was that I didn't lose any data thus it was a minor problem. I just was not going to let a client see that. LOL

Probably not so bad to have all those updates within a years time for 1 version.
It seems like a lot more effort went into making X1 right before the next version release than in previous versions. Whether or not they needed that much attention I don't know, I wasn't there for Sonar 1.
But how many years and 8 versions later I still read posts complaining about unresolved issues that will never be addressed because that format is now obsolete.
