Copy function weirdness

I have used Copy function a zillion times and never had this weirdness.
I have been scratching my ( I'm a Monkey so forget it) and give in so come seeking wisdom.

Open new project using Normal Template
Insert a few audio tracks
Insert a few MIDI tracks
Insert Session Drummer 3
Go to media browser and drag and drop a pattern - Train Beat 1 to MIDI track.
It plays the one bar.
Copy
Paste Special- Start - 2:01:00/ Rep- 96/ track 5/ Linked Repetitions/Link to original/Align to Measure/Blend / Paste as new - OK

Each time I do this the pasted tracks will only have the snare, I tried different settings even though these are what worked before.   Now I just did it and there is only the Kick?
This is the first time I've messed with creating a drum track in X!. So is something different now?
Sincerely; Sock.

I would make the 1 bar drum pattern into a Groove Clip and then drag it out for however many bars you need. Just right click the clip and select groove clip looping (the corners will become rounded), then grab the right edge with the mouse and drag it out.

Thanks Dave, that did work just fine I now have 100 bars of Train beat, There's 100 ways to do a certain process. But still does not explain the paste function weirdness. I even tried starting from scratch. It's like some filter. I even tried highlighting different notes ( Hi Hat) in piano roll view. Oh Well. My guess is some hidden keyboard shortcut has been toggled.

I've got a song to build, onward ho!

My guess is your pattern may be referencing more than one MIDI channel. Look at the Event List view of the cut and paste version and compare the copy with the original.

Naw, all ch 10. Oh well. One of the random things that waste your time when your just trying to work. X1 is no different than Guitar Studiowas in that regard. Speaking of wasting time- I Started my day in Cubase and got nowhere fast trying to do the same thing. It has Groove synth which is same as session drummer but for the life of me I couldn't even figure out ( after reading manual for 2 hours)  how it all works. So now it's lunch time and I'm just about to record the guitar and scratch vocal. Just hating X1 windows. Everything seems to take over the whole screen even when I undock. Hate Hate Hate.....

I`ve had this problem in all versions of Sonar, using different interfaces, computers etc. I`ve mentioned it before on this forum. Whenever I copy and paste notes/clips, many times midi notes are missing in the pasted part. Doesn`t matter which instruments I use, which channel they are on etc. Happens in most of my projects.
