Exporting MP3's: Getting Volumes Correct

Thanks for all the info on my first question on the best quality MP3's. As I'm exporting I want all the mp3's to have a consistent volume as I'm using these in a live venue and I don't want to be constantly adjusting my volume for each song. Right now I'm inserting Boost11 in the Bin, but I'm confused as to what settings to use for the Input and Output knobs. Right now I'm just fiddling with each knob and checking the meters (looking for a healthy signal). Is there a better way to do this? Thanks in advance.

First don't use Boost11. If you have X1 Pro Expanded get the Concrete Limiter.

But this sounds like a mastering job to me. You want the songs to have similar levels and that is one big reason for mastering. I would use X1 with all the songs, after you exported them as independent songs, placed on a single track where you can adjust the levels using automation.

Use the CL for making sure nothing goes above a set level. Export it and than cut it up as needed or leave it as a single file.

There are different ways to do this and you can figure out the best way for you.
