Soft synths both playing on controller

Hey All,
 
Have a project I loaded EWQSO orchestral patches in in the Fx bin of an audio track and routed it to a midi track. Made another audio track, loaded the cakewalk SI bass in it and routed it to its own midi track. When I try to play the bass alone with my controller keyboard, the strings play too. Any way to fix this?

    Put them on different MIDI channels.

    SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
