Rocksmith anyone? ....lol

My mom bought me Rocksmith for my b-day in Feb.,I just got around to trying it . I've been learning/playing guitar for around 28 years and can play pretty much whatever I want.Rocksmith makes learning new songs alot of fun and I'm learning songs that I wouldn't normally choose to learn. It would be a fun way for a beginner to learn guitar too, there are arcade style video games designed to teach various playing techniques and the difficulty adjusts to how well you're doing in the game. The better you're doing, the more difficult the game gets.
I've been having alot of fun playing this game and just wanted to tell somebody

I find it a fun diversion.  Fun playing Pixies.

As I always have had a problem playing songs like the record, this is pretty good for my chops.

I was hoping one of the kids would pick it up, but he still prefers shooting things.  Need to figure out a way to kill things with a guitar to get my son interested.

My son is actually on the team for version 2.

He says it will not teach you theory but it will teach you guitar.

    I'm waiting for GoodMannersSmith.

We bought it for my grandson this year for Christmas and it has helped him immensely in his pursuit of being a young gun on guitar.  While I teach him new things each time I see him ,he keeps coming up with new songs he's learned almost every time we get together to jam.  He's 11 years old and started playing two Christmases ago when we bought him his first guitar, but it's been the last 4 months with Rocksmith that's really accelerated both his interest and desire to take it more seriously.

It would be a great way for a kid to learn to play. You start learning almost as soon as you start the game.Go check out some of the videos at the Rocksmith site or on youtube.
