The season of Asparagus....
....is soon to be upon us once again. I was noticing the Bluebells coming up and it reminded me. Yammy!

I do love asparagus, wrapped in parma ham and finished with Hollandaise sauce. My mouth's watering thinking about it. Makes my pee smell funny though.

pwal i must live in the future as we have asparagus all year round Ya, but it comes up like the related bluebells in springtime if left to its own devices. It doesn't come up surrounded by a tin or freezer bag normally either...

Thank you Bapu very helpful. Especially this. You can actually slice each tartine into four or five bite-sized pieces for a nice appetizer option as well.
