You're not supposed to record the EZD (or any soft synth) MIDI to audio, you bounce or freeze.
No need to find the "scenario" on the forum, reading the manual about soft synths is enough to learn these basics and more. There's 1500 pages of info. There's also a tutorial about using soft synths.
