Midi efx in X1

Hi,

I select a midi click, in the menu go to process/midi/ and the midi options are greyed out...what am I doing wrong?
I just want to quantize the click and maybe change some of the velocity data...
I have done this a million time b4 but now something has changed...

    Be sure you have the MIDI data you want to process selected first. Just selecting the track without selecting the data wont do the job.

    lol
    Yep, I agree...some of the new "improvements" are taking us back in time...Maybe cake has some oppositions infiltrates in their line of duty giving them "hints"...
    I don't know if it's only me, but in my opinion Sonar had some straight forward processes that made it simpler and faster to work than the competition. It was very intuitive and logical, and now they "improved" it and I am stuck.
    Some of the things I don't like about X1 are, apart form this midi "improvement":
    + the way envelopes work in x1 (protools style: clips, automations etc) - until sonar 8.5.3 we add access to all parameters in the track/clip without having to select modes....and it worked so well for me...;
    + the way we could (before X1) edit notes and date very easily form the staff view and piano tool;

    ...have to run back in the studio now, but will start a new post on these "improvements"...

    regards,
    joni

    ps- Thanks for the hint ;-)
