Mike, that's a wood floor.  Did you treat it for vibrations in any way also?  I remember those days when some control floors were isolated by springs, rubber, etc.  from the other rooms.  I had to do that once when our control room was on the second floor right over a pharmacy!  Those were the days.

Will you be using ARC on it when it is done, or is it going to be 'correct' by design from the get go?

More importantly will you building it improve my mixes in any way?

Perhaps the shape is maximised so it will inspire some 'true' art.

Anyway I'm glad I could help in some way or did you mean Justin Beiber or another J.B?

You can be so cryptic at times.  I like that though.

Man I love that spray foam. Like living in an IGLOO cooler once ya have it all finished up. Makes a very tight room.  Maybe I missed it, what are you using this room for Mike?  Are you running HVAC to it?

    Looking good

    Looking good there Mike.

he can always treat the floor with a layer of mandatory 1/16 inch mosture insalation that goes under hard wood floors that acts as a moisture barrier and sound dead 'ner.
i wouldnt be concerned with the floor unless it was a shaby one.

the walls and ceiling however are perfect and aucousticaly sound.
    this is really cool mike.
my studio has sound insalation and soundboard.yours my friend is more professional than mine.
that foam if im correct is acually either hand dropped and trowelled on or its places with foam board and then cut with a heat wire(the most dangerous tool ive ever used)
its a coil wire with a handle on each end and a power supply that runs a charge through a wire about the gauge of a g string(.024)
when you turn up the power the wire gets red its so hot.
it will then slice threw foam like it was butter.

im impressed mike,it looks really nice and the shape is auwesome.love the look.

After I dry wall I stuff bass traps in the corners and then start checking out the sound of the room.

I like my old beat up shack of a house and I like it's location even more, so I make do.

(Now thats what its ALL ABOUT, Lover that Thought!!!)
Nice Choice in the Split system as well, Keep the noisy compressor out side and the squirrel cage fan isnt to bad but you can always kill the system if needed during recording if it comes down to it.

Someday, when there's a chance of me building one of those again, I'd like to get a few more specifics about it.  I like the foam aspect (instead of having the usual double walls that aren't connected together, etc.) and I like how the roof has some simple angles to it and isn't flat.

    Looks good Mike!
