guitar amp (effects)

is there any way to get the guitar effects while recording so the musician can hear what the final sone is going to be I have ampitube and pod farm

    Yes but you need a Audio Interface that has low round trip latency ( RTL) to be able to monitor after EFX. There is always a delay in the processing of audio from the input to the output ( monitors) The average audio interface on a not so great computer could have well over 12ms and as high as 30ms of delay.You can hear this as a echo of what you play. So it makes it impossible to play in time. There are recommended interfaces that go well below 5ms. This is what you need to monitor things like Guitar Rig.
