    I like the fact that I don't have to agree with someone all the time in order to like them.

    It makes me feel like I'm some kind of an individual rather than a gang/clique member.

    So what if you were ever to anger me greatly, it wouldn't change how I feel about somebody as a whole.  Never has never will.  It means I'm taking to heart what they are saying and with some genuine interest.
