I sure would like to have a ban/ignore button so that when a babblin on happens I can just click it off and go about my business of being me. Some folks only like me being them or very like them. Oops I expressed myself and now someone is going to say"How immature". Yes I Am

Everyone I know has one of those Ignore buttons. They use it on me all the time.
I can't find mine, though. Maybe I had it and used it, and now I'm not aware of it.

It's not the same as a button, but I'd like to suggest that Someone who may want to use one of those thread icons to indicate their intention. Like the OP did with the with the light bulb icon. If people can agree to use a smile face on a new post--silliness will follow. If an OP uses another icon such as the # perhaps we can use that as an indicator of a serious thread and agree to respect that. Anyone glancing at the list of threads could then seek out serious or unfunny. Just a thought.

Oh...the button thing...
I don't need a button. I recognize the ones that have issues and just
don't pay them any mind unless they "attack" me. There are very few
reasons that that happens because I really don't mind people melting
or being nuts....it helps me to realize what I don't want to be like.
Some I may offer a different point of view as an effort of what I believe to be help
and others...well I honestly don't care if they melt or not....just glad they're
not my neighbor.
