Mike, I'm with you on this as well. So, I decided to do it with a "stupid face" (in remembrance of the original Bapu).

He's still Bapsi to me.  Or is that Pepsi?  I get them confused.

That's how I remember the difference.  Bapsi is the "Now" generation.  Not the new.  Thanks Mike!

I don't like "The Bapu" because grammatically it sort of sounds like it's in the third person.

I much prefer my Bapu in the first person.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

I'm afraid the whole "The" thing might make him think he gets to sit in my Archie Bunker chair on movie night without asking first.

I can't see any scenario where anyone would sit in the Archie Bunker without asking first.

You may only have to do it through the weekend.

You can if you want Mike. Or you can call him Ed, or hey you, or Tonga the Bass king. It really doesn't matter as long as you don't call him late for dinner.
