Watch this......

I now have started five threads (freds in elder speak) on page one.

I'll self police myself and not start another one until one of them drops off page one).

So just by replying to your threads I can keep you from starting new ones?

Isn't that too much power for one man to have?

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

OK, I have a new problematic test case.

Let's say you start five threads: one about shirts, two more about socks, one about hats, and one about pants.

    Your pants drops.

So then you start a new one about undershreddies.

But then someone else pulls your pants back up.

    What then?

No one can tell (from that observation point) how utterly disgusting my undershreddies are. Give that they are so focused on my pants.

Do you want me to link to all 5 freds here so you (and everyone else) know exactly which ones not to reply to?

No. I'd probably keep replying to "that guy" and that will be messy I'm sure.
