OK, driving me crazy.
I'm working along fine, export tracks, pull the master WAV into my mastering project. Decide to go back in to the mix and tweak and... no sound.
All busses appear to be accounted for. Master bus to Liquid 56. No muting.
Further exploration indicates no project will play back sound. Waves appear intact and playback is indicated with time display.
Reason working fine with Liquid 56.
WTH happened? I've looked through all prefs and nothing has changed to the best of my knowledge.
Anyone has a possibility please toss it out.
Added Melodyne trial couple days ago. Had one crash but working since then. Disabling it makes no diff. Disabling all effects makes no diff.
It's like Sonar lost touch with the interface but I see no evidence of that...
It's times like these that I wish sonar had a routing / project information / properties window that you could also print. I tend to think something happened with your driver and of course maybe one of the buses or a bunch of them.
If in preferences you can see your driver which would mean Sonar does too and would tell us something. Try changing from Asio to WDM or vice versa. I've had issues where using another DAW in between Sonar session would somehow mess with Sonar. This will typically reset and fix the problem. Once I get sound again, I switch back to the driver I like the best, which is Asio.
Another thing to look at is the window sound mixer, I know it is not supposed to be a part of the equation, but I've had an instance where that mixer was muted and somehow, someway was blocking my sound.
Of course you need to carefully check your bus routing, just in case.
If none of that works, maybe try a system restore back to a day or so when everything was working.
If that doesn't work, then I would try uninstalling and re-installing the driver.
That's all I have at this point...
Good Luck and let us know...
