Melodyne

Anyone having a problem with melodyne, Since the last X1 update melodyne won't do a fast bounce, have to do audible what you hear bounce. Used to work flawless.

Yeah, it's a bug in X1d. I've already filled out a trouble ticket and the bakers know about it. There is a work around, though. Albeit a slow one. Just bounce to tracks instead. Un-check fast bounce first and you should be all set.

I am able to use Melodyne with fast-bounce and almost no trouble whatsoever, however I did have to make a tweak to Windows:

    http://www.celemony.com/userforum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6921

This was to fix another issue I was having, but Melodyne does work correctly with fastbounce, but perhaps it is just my system?  You will notice from my other posts that I do have my share of other issues which aren't Melodyne related.

I haven't been able to fast bounce since X1 period.

I am skeptical about anybody being able to fast bounce Melodyne in any version of X1.

It works perfect in 8.5 for me as well as others who have reported on this.

I did submit a bug report and they are definitely looking at the issue.

I can confirm I had the same trouble and I solved it the same way after some trials. Melodyne is so beautiful that it was worth waiting the slow bounce!

I've been using the trial and besides the bounce issue, have had one hang and some flakiness. Now plugin playback is wangled. Standalone editor works OK but a bit of a hassle.
On the fence about dropping that much cash for less-than-stellar functionality.

This issue has been brought up in a few different threads, the audible what you hear bounce is the only thing that works on my system.  Wouldn't hold my breath on a fix from Melodyne anytime soon.

It's a X1D bug that effects all timecode based plug-ins such as melodyne and Antares. Real time bounce is for the birds. Tech support told me to use 8.53 for tuning/timing adjustments. Still works in 8.53! :)

Melodyne hasn't been 'like it was' for me since I installed X1D.  I NEVER fast bounce unless it's something mission uncritical like a percussion track.  ALL vocals get bounced in real time- and that applied in 8.5.
