what I have got done so far.. You can still hear some odd things I cant seam to fix..

Im gonna post a tune that I have been working on and maybe someone can tell me what is going wrong>> this is a rough take but there is some odd clipping.. Not as bad as I have been getting..

    Hmm. I'm not really hearing any dramatic clipping. However, it does sound as if you may be pushing the gain a bit on the pickup. Try turning the level down at the guitar to maybe 70% of where it is now.
    Granted, the overall volume is a bit soft, but I think you may be trying to compensate for it being too hot right from the start. Or the pickup itself may just be washing out.
    Do you have any mics yet?
    Recording an acoustic guitar is surprisingly challenging. Don't give up.
    Your playing style on the acoustic, much like my own, is fairly aggressive, and can add to that challenge.

    Hey Bob thanks... I do think your right DI'ing the guitar is not a good idea I really find that you lose the warmth. You are right about my playing as well I am really heavy on the pic... I am gonna go back to the mic and see what I can do it is frusturating for sure but im sure ill get it.. my bit depth seems to be off and I cant change it so Im going to try to remedy that issue as well and from there I am sure things will come together.. Thanks again..
