Are These Things Possible in X1?

X1 is getting slow and unwieldy again!  Unnecessary multiple clip processing slow everything down and bloats the project files. 
 
Can anybody state if it is possible in Sonar X1 to add a Gain and/or Pan envelope to a just a single clip or group of clips, other than to have to create an envelope for every clip on a track, or add a new track specially?

    this is not the X1 forum.  this is the 8.5.3 and below legacy forum.

    but yes, clip gain envelopes are still available in X1, just use the HUD pull down menu to select CLIP>GAIN or you can do it on the CB or you can do it by clicking the middle mouse button on the track with the clips you want to change gain on.
