For anyone capable of backwards time travel

I have a business opportunity for you that has no paradox creating events.

Travel backwards to the 60s/70s/80s and record the greatest rock concerts in high resolution DVD/DVDA.

You could make a fortune.  Just do not show the recording gear to anyone because there is a paradox. Maybe disguise it as a portable reel to reel.

Oh, make sure you are innocuous and not in the way of the next great rock musician.

Some people call me Maurice

SPLAT Pro lifetime, ADK 6 core 3.6Ghz with 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB system drive, 3 3TB regular drives for samples, recordings and misc.  Behringer X Touch, UAD Apollo Quad.  2 UAD2 Quads PCI (i think - inside the box whatever that is), Console 1.  More guitars (40??) and synths (hard and soft) than talent.  Zendrum!!!

    I already have loads recorded.

Trouble is I have a format conversion problem between any currently available platforms and my memory.  It's all there though apart from some glitches caused by the storage medium.

played the guitar parts. I supplied the backing tracks and synth sounding
guitar-Jeff sang it. - My first shameless plug. :0

The beauty of it is those are even there in the subconcious.  They are probably even better preserved as a result of never being played back.

Maybe it just needs the oxide that's built up over the years cleaning off.  As long as it's true vertically you should be OK.

I tried this, but I missed my target slightly.

On the positive side, if you want to hear some pristine recordings of Guh (circa 2650 BC), let me know.

For me, the point in time when I started to be able to relate to the historic artefact / artist in the here and now was the colour video presentation of the Elvis comeback special.

Sure, its less than perfect, but it seemed very real and allowed me to not only imagine, but SEE what it must have been like to have been there. A little akin to when you see colour reels from the Second World War.

Surely time travel not possible... I have a very open mind but the fact of there being no evidence whatsoever of visitations from future time travellers seems to be a logistic slam dunk. Pray tell me if I may have overlooked something there. (or is that another thread - yes it is, I will start one...)

Woodstock not bad quality too but nothing like HD DVD SADC etc

Did you use your Motown setting in SONAR. Guh don't do pure digital.

I tried skipping a little bit further forward.  I got some great Gregorian chants.  If you listen closely, you can still clearly hear some idiot in the back yelling out, "Freebird!"

That's the trade-mark sign of modern time travel.  By the time, time travel was invented in the future they'd realised that it was folly going backwards.  The future is proving to be far more exciting a prospect by then looking back on the current developments and theory that have already been made in the past.

Is it just me, or does anyone else hate the fact that future time travel is limited to forward only at a rate of one second per second?

    Something about that seems wrong...

Bouy rates already prove that exponential increases in the future are inevitable.

The idea that man can come back unlimited times and pay the same fees multiple times has some appeal.

Of course the technology required for me to be able to offer this service isn't likely to come cheap but when you consider that you will have an eternity to keep making repayments it will represent great value.

I can't say fairer than that.
