Check what is listed in your account. Even if you don't install it you still get a serial and reg code. I'd contact the bakers.

The answer has to be no-yes call, but it's no. It's a download. You can install it anytime you like down the road. Not saying you are going to do that, but think about it? You also could have made images of the boxed version. I guess it would have to go something like this: Dear CW, I promise I have destroyed all downloaded copies, reformatted my HD so remnants were left, did a low level format. I promise, I did. I believe you but I don''t count. There is no challenge\response in place so as long as one has the reg and the serial number you can install it on 1,00 computers. Just trying to make a point

Simplified - if the registration code is linked to your name (as in an account has your name attached to it) the answer is no. If it was boxed, the registration code not linked to any user then the answer would be yes.

siordanescu Why?.... Might be moving over to Pro Tools.... Just about even kind of good tutorial I find on editing, mixing and mastering always seems to be in Pro Tools.. Many users a crossed forums of different DAW platforms talk about how often they get into the situation where they are asked for a Pro Tools session of their work and the tedious methods to go into providing that. And then there is me losing my job probably in September. I am thinking of making a major change and attending Pinnacle College. And wouldn't ya know it, they run Pro Tools.. Unless some of ya know an easy way to convert files over to Pro Tools or a program that will do it for me without costing me to the point where I just might as well buy Pro Tools.. :)

Use sonar and import/export your audio as BWF ie Broadcast Wave Files and you'll be able to collaborate with anyone. Even with using PT there's no guarantee that the same plugins are going to be available to the studio with whom you want to swap files and if they aren't you'll have to use BWF anyway. With PT 10'a new AAX plugin format this is going to be an issue in any case. Many of us have managed this bit of file juggling for years as there are other DAWs beside PT to consider. There is also omf which is available within SONAR for direct export of a PT ready file but this has been problematic at times.

Like if I have 30 tracks, I am going to have to do that process of creating BWF's 30 separate times?

You can export multiple separate tracks and/or stems in one hit via Sonar's export dialogue box.
