ProChannel lacks settings management features

I have just completed my first CD project using X1D-expanded. It has left me with mixed feelings. I like some of the modules, but:

I found no way to transfer settings between individual ProChannel modules.

I had a good compressor setting for guitar. I wanted to transfer it to the other songs, where I sometimes already had saturation and other things set up.

I had to do it manually.

I also had a fairly complex set of modules to tighten up a muddy bass guitar. I wanted to transfer that to a bus on one song. Again, I had to do it manually, button-for-button.

Had I used VST modules, this would have been easier. Either drag-drop between FX bins or save/load settings.

If Cakewalk wants to introduce more PC modules, I think they should improve the management features. Track Templates and the current presets model are too coarse.

If you hover the mouse pointer over where it says untitled at the top of the pro channel you can save and load pro channel presets,

This has been brought up by others and it's probably one of the most common requests for ProChannel - per module presets.  Please put in a feature request with the official mechanism - the more that do the more likely it will get attention.

Yes please add a feature request, it's something I was surprised I couldn't do from the outset of the PC and FR'd early on. I often find I might want the same compression but different EQ on two guitar takes for example. I rarely use presets but this is one time I would find them useful and I can't do it.

I feel the same way and put in a feature request.  Please do - I'm pretty sure we'll get our way if enough people put in the request.

Yes, I've encountered this as well and find it surprising the ability to use presets for individual ProChannel modules wasn't included with ProChannel from the very beginning - I've just submitted a feature request.

I too want this - feature request sent in earlier this year... I'm glad more people are requesting this! Keep them coming please.

I posed the same question few days ago (just browse, it should be on page 2 or 3). I was also answered to save it as a preset and then load it form the new track.

+1 to make it better (like the sonitus per-channel eq, ctrl-drag or something similar)

In the console view, you can drag a PC EQ (the mini-view in the channel strip) to another channel and it copies.  Can't do that for the compressor, though.

Agreed  - I think a right-click on a module "copy settings" and right-click "paste settings" would work just dandy.

I am talking about individual modules, like in the FX bin. Presets are for the entire PC.
