Losing the Mouse Cursor In Menus

In one particular project I loose the mouse pointer when I right-click to go into the effects menu ANY menu.  It doesn't happen everytime, but it happens quite a lot and it is very annoying.  I can still sort of manage to make selections, but it is difficult.

This is happening right now in a major project of mine, but this isn't the first time I've seen this behavior, it has happened in other projects as well.

Does anyone know what is going on?

No. But I would suggest that you do a little research based on the brand of mouse that you use and it's current drivers. If nothing of note comes up, then I'd move on to the graphics drivers and do the same. I'm not saying that in your specific case this is not X1 related, but I would concentrate on the above before going any further.

I had a problem with my cursor when overclocking.

Could it be a currupted Project or Operating system?

    Cheers,

Well, I have the second to last Nvidia driver installed as the latest one was causing my system to crash - reverting to the previous driver solved that issue and I haven't had a crash since.

It seems that I can only see the disappearing mouse cursor in a project I have that I thought was corrupted, but I managed to save this project by starting in safemode and deactivating all plugins then resaving a new version without any plugins.

I don't think its a mouse driver issue as the mouse works fine in everything else besides Sonar.

Happens only in Sonar, is intermittent and affects some projects but not all. Its latest manifestation is in a project that you salvaged. Okie dokie...

Well, I really have no idea but I would ask myself, "what do the projects where my right mouse pointer dissapears have in common, that projects where my mouse pointer displays as expected do not have?". Ya, that's about right.
