It is what it is

Wrote a cancer (and cancer surviver song) a few weeks ago.  Swollen sub-mandibular gland on right side.  CT Scan looked suspicious, so they're doing a biopsy next Friday.  I keep humming the words...

It is what it is, but it isn't what it is 'till it is
It is what it is, but it isn't what it is 'till it is
So don't get in a tiz, cause it isn't what it i 'till it is

There are more verses, but you get the drift...

The forum software is often "interesting" in what it does.

It isn't what it is, until it is. Good attitude I think. I often wonder how much the stress adds to the distress a  person feels.

Best of luck to you. I really hope it turn out to be nothing at all.

    Exactly.

But here's hoping that it isn't.

    Hi Mike,

I hope it isn't, too.  You have a good attitude--keep it up.  I look forward to hearing the song with a good ending.

    Best wishes,

Wishing you the best with your song.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.
