Tascam us 1641 No MIDI Fixed

I know it used to work but that was back when I used XP32bit. I have been using this Axiom USB controler for input since I upgraded to W7 64bit. The Axiom is small but works fine for drum pars. Today I plugged in my Roland PC100 via MIDI and hmm, There's no Tascam showing in the MIDI in/outs.
 
I fired up Cubase and same thing?? 
 
Could it be the drivers?
There was a big improvment with audio with the new drivers ( V 2.01 )
Anyone else have this unit?? or The 1800 as they are identical. other than the meters.

Just did a test and the MIDI shows and works under XP 32 with Driver 1.00. Talk about latency. Play the note and hear it 30ms later.....
 
I thought I had the latest drivers but I see there is a 2.02 dated 2010??  What's with that date I just downloaded 2.01 in Jan
 
Installed new drivers and now it works, sorry about the panic, but I was dead sure my drivers were up to date, Just goes to show.
I guess don;t trust the date , look at the version #
