VIDEO - My latest video - The Track Control Manager

Having seen a few posts about what can & can't be seen easily in the track header I've uploaded a video to show how I use the Track Control manager to display (or not) the various widgets and make most use of the space available. This example shows how to easily show pan & vol in the track header without using too much screen space. I can't say I've seen many videos on something as exciting as the track control manager before either.

This isn't a comment on whether there is wasted space or not, that's been done to death a thousand times already, it's just my way of making the most use of the tools already available within X1. It'll probably be more useful to Sonar newcomers as most of this has always been available in Sonar, 'xcept Screensets of course.

VIDEO HERE

As always, I hope someone finds it useful.

NIce FBB! You can CTRL+(up/down arrow) to resize the vertical area as well. CTRL+(left/right arrows) shortens or lengthens the clips pane.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

    Thanks for thanks!

@Colin - I think there's around 20 there now on various subjects. Perhaps I need to get out more.

@Cecelius 2 - TBH I don't plan them much, I just see a few posts on a subject on here and if it's something I do  myself I just video the way I work and if it helps others great if it doesn't it don't matter. I'm sure there'll be more though.

@Guitarpima - Yeah there's plenty of shortcuts, perhaps there's a video there but there's so many I think it'd take an hour to fit them all in.  I was really just trying to show that the widget manager combined with screensets can be configured to look the way anybody wants it to look.
