Best way to upgrade X1 Studio to Producer?

Hello,

I want to upgrade X1 Studio to Producer (Expanded).
Which way would be the best?:

1) Deinstall X1 Studio  ->  Install X1 Producer

or

2) Install X1 Producer -> deinstall X1 Studio


I don't want to keep X1 Studio on my harddrive (SSD 128GB) to save space.

Is there a risk, that I loose a lot of settings, presets (VST-plugins)?

Maybe someone has experiences with that...
