Help : Sonar X1 Producer Expanded, not opening anymore a project and its backups...
Hello all... I already asked to Sonar Support one week ago, but no reply at all on this... What happens is this, and I hope some1 may have a solution/advice... I work with SONAR X1 Producer Expanded on a Win7 64, all latest updates, both windows and SONAR... I have a 2 month work project to be closed before going to Audio, and just need to record last MIDI track... The project always opened fine, no problems at, it's an only MIDI for now, so no Audio files, I can suppose all needed data should be inside the save... well... it seems that since I upgraded the Video Card of the PC ( with a more powerfull nVidia GTX 560 Ti), the project does not opens anymore, and the nice is that that even old backups, going back up to 2 months ago, do the same... The weird thing is that ALL other projects, just MIDI or even with Audio, open and run regularly, but not this one... I can not believe that something in the project was linked to old graphics card... All the Video settings are exactly the same... What happens now is that SONAR start loding it, and then 'stucks' just as the 'loading bar' on the Display is cleared... I need to force a program shut down by task manager... I asked to SONAR support for this problem one week ago, and no reply at all till now and not any solution to my tries... Only once after many tries a backup opened, so, I checked it, it was regular, no weird things compared to other projects, it played, meaning nothing was missing to it as inetrfaces or peripherals, So I saved it back, and as it reloaded, I hoped it was fixed... Instead, as I closed Sonar and restarted it again, it did not open anymore again... Any advice is wellcome at this point... Thanks... Alex
