Removing/deleting velocity etc..

I have several files that were carried over from composition created in another application. Now, if I open it in Sonar, all the controls such as velocity and volume are copied over, which I do not want. How can I get rid of these controls? I tired copying the track and past it over to another track but it pastes everything... Thanks!

    open the PRV, expand the controller pane, select a controller, use the erase tool to erase them all, move to the next controller, repeat.

    other option:  open the MIDI EVENTS view, filter on CC.  delete each one.
