Sonar x1d - export audio crash

I'm using Sonar Producer Expanded (x64) and recently updated to X1d.
When I try to export Audio, Sonar just crashes. It asks if I want to send in a crashdump so at least the error handling is working...
Even the simplest project with just 2 seconds of audio and no FX's crashes.

I reverted to X1c through "System Restore" (the best thing ever invented) and everything works fine.

Any ideas?

    Yep pain in the butt!

This is the only fix Im aware of for it (other than a restore)

    Ok, thanks!
I have "Aaron's Sonar MP3 Patch" installed for making Mp3's. That's probably the root cause. I've had the fraunhofer MP3 since "Cakewalk Audio Pro 9 (!!!)" But that doesn't seem like an option anymore...

Add me to the list of people having this problem. I also have one of Aaron's add-ins. This was driving me crazy the past two nights, and searching the Sonar forums using its built-in search tool didn't uncover this thread--a Google search did, however. Funny about that.

One day, when I have the time, I will learn how to use all the features of Cakewalk 2.0. Oh, wait, Sonar 8.5. What did you say? Sonar version what?

Update: I uninstalled Aaron's MP3 add-in, and Sonar X1d operates normally now. I see that Aaron has a newer version of his add-in, but despite my appreciation for his work, I'm a little gun-shy of trying it again.

If you purchased the Cakewalk MP3 encoder with PA9, then you should still have the license and can reinstall it. Otherwise use the LAME MP3 encoder which is free and won't crash your Sonar.

Are you using a plugin that doesn't like the 64bit engine?

Are you using a plugin that doesn't like Fast bounce?

Try disabling fast bounce first and export
