Installing Sonitus plugins??

Hi,
I installed everything on the sonar X1 installation discs a couple of weeks ago but thought i would leave out the sonitus plugs. I now want to install them because I'm kinda missing them. My queation is, is it possible to just install them direct from the Sonar DVd? I've browsed all the discs and can't find seperate .exe files for them. You seem to have to go through the autorun option which in theory is then going to install Sonar X1 over ther top of my orginal X1 installation (which I have sinced updated to X1d). I just don't want to muck up any settings that I have especially as the installation is starting to ask for shared plugin directories etc.

Any advice appreciated

You have to run the ionstaller again.

This time around just take note of each dialog box as it opens and make sure to only select the plugins you want. SONAR's installation routine allows you to select exactly which components to install whether they be codes, the program itself or plugins etc.
This is a fairly routine procedure that has been part of SONAR installations sionce the year dot.
Many of us have plugins from a variety of different versions that go back many years. come time for a full reinstall we have to find those old discs and select just the required bits we want.

just take your time and make sure to read each dialog box so you don't reinstall the program proper.

In the first part of this video, you'll find an example of how to install Cakewalk plug-ins without installing SONAR itself or anything else...

if installing X1 over 8.5 do i need to install sonitus or other plugins for that matter again or are they updated versions so install anyway. If you install again do you get copies of the old ones or overwrites.
