Win7/64 Upgrade: Base install done!

Holy cow what a ride. I did the upgrade above, and upped RAM to 8GB. Had to get a new wireless PCI card in the process (what a head scratcher!) and now the base install is pretty much complete.

Now, of course, the time-honored tradition of reinstalling ALL the apps. I think I'm going to take this opportunity to purge my VSTs and create a leaner rig. I'm even wondering if I need to reinstall all my previous versions of SONAR. I wish they had a chart of what extras came with each version so I could decide on some of those past goodies.

Any tips going forward?

Yep a bunch of us have been there.  I got a new PC and went all 64bit.. Kind of a pain in the ass to figure out which Sonar updates you need to get to X1D.  But all the plugins fun WAY smoother in 64bit.  There aren't that many out there that don't have a 64bit version.

Most of the Sonar updates tell you which version needs to be installed to proceed.  ; )
