Neil Peart Drum Grooves

Anyone use these drum grooves for your songs? I couldn't find anything at Esoundz if there were seperate intro, fills, verse, and chorus parts. Having all the parts ready would make it really easy to drop it in a track.

I do have Neil Pearts Drums (the Kontakt version), but I'm not very good with playing it on my keyboard.

I've never used audio grooves. I have used MIDI grooves as a basis for songs but I usually end up modifying them. I guess that's why I don't use audio grooves.

As I have credit with esoundz I could get this pkg for $19 but I'm still not sure they are for me.

If you get them Mesh please let us know if they are useful.

Will do Bapu. I'll check around and see if the other parts are included before jumping in. If they are, that may be the deciding factor.

Were there any MIDI grooves included in the Neil Peart kit for Kontakt?

    Mesh,

Gotta say I'm pretty sure there were not. I looked around on my DL directory of the install and all I saw was zip files pf kit pieces.

    That's too bad.....

If there were some Midi Grooves (like there are for EZ/Superior Drummer), that would be just Rush Heaven!!

No, no MIDI included. I may have bought MIDI loops but wont be shelling out for audio.

I contacted Allen @ Esoundz and he confirmed the grooves contained:

    1) Intro's
    2) Verse
    3) Chorus
    4) Fills

    Per Allen:
"Yes, they contain all of that as they are the songs from Rush's new material."

IF these were Midi, it'd be a no-brainer......but, I do like Neil Pearts drums/grooves...................decisions....decisions.....

This has got to be the only context in the world where "Neil Peart" and "groove" are used in the same sentence.
