The Teleport Server

I have constant troubles with the Teleport Server crashing. Once it stops responding I can't save the file, Sonar stops responding and I have to crash it. Then it won't start because the process hasn't closed and I can't kill the process with any tool known to man. (End Process, End Process Thread, Pkill, etc) Why is the Teleport server such a sensitive creature and can anything be done? Is this because it's working with x86 stuff in an x64 machine? Thanks - rev Quad 3.3, Win 7 Ult x64, 12 RAM, Sonar 8.5.3, Plug causing the error - unknown.

It's bitbridge, used for 32 bit VSTs in 64 bit Sonar.  If you are getting cronic problems try to identify which VSTs are in use when you get a crash. Its probably a rogue plugin(s). You do say the rogue plug in is unknown but its worth spending a bit of time trying to find it.

If you can identify which VSTs are causing the problem and there is no 64 bit upgrade you could try JBridge and see if it helps. If not, and these plugins are essential to you you can always install the 32 bit version of Sonar along side the 64 bit version.

If you have not done so already check if there are 64 bit updates for all your plugins.

    Intel i7 3770K @4.4GHz, 32GB RAM, 240GB SSD System disk, 2 x 2TB and 1 x 1TB (with SSD Cache) HDD. Windows 10,  Sonar Platinum. Roland Quad Capture.

Glyn: Good answer! I had a su****ion it was a 32/64 bit issue. It shouldn't be hard to identify the culprit and look for updates. I hadn't thought of using the 32 bit Sonar but that would certainly take care of the problem. I could work the rogue plug and run off the audio in the correct environment and then reopen the file in the 64 bit version. Thanks! That word with the **** in it is 'sus-picion' but the forum software won't let me type it presumably because there are 4 consecutive letters there that could be construed as a racial slur.
