Reinstalling SONAR on new Win7/64 system. "Run as administrator" probz

Is there an easy way to just turn this off? Instead of configuring every app to run as administrator?

    2 ways really

1)user account control, just type UAC into the search box  , but that changes windows globally.

    2) but I just right click.. "run as admin" instead

you can modify the admin properties, i think right click on the app.. and properties.. then change them to run as admin.. IF you don't want to mess with UAC      .. you'll find it under "compatibility" tab

because it stops online things installing without permission / your knowledge..

it's a good safety net linux has had for years, but prefer how it's implemented in that.

Fog is right, and this is how I roll on my office computer

If I set Sonar to "Run as Admin" I get that annoying pop up every time I launch,
so I run "Run as Admin" only when I have to "register" something new...

Fog's comment is why it Win7 defaults as it does, and I choose to right click and run as admin as well (rather than default down the security). Rarely do you need to run things as admin, and only a few things (like entering the Dimension Pro Reg numbers) need to be launched as admin. The security of this is not bothersome once you get used to Win7. I jumped from XP to Win7 directly, so the learning curve initially was steep.
