Using PerfectSpace properly..

So many of the preset folders contain multiple files such as "hall omni mid right""hall omni mid left" "hall omni far right" etc.... do you just pick one and go with it; or would you set up multiple instances with each on its own bus and route accordingly (latency hell)?? just trying to get clarification on the impulse names. Thanks!

You chose the best preset that you feel best fits the sound your going for and you can also adjust the setting sto fine tune it to the sound you want. There is no proper use of it. Any way you use it can be a proper use of it, just as long as you get the sound you want.

You can load up 10 instances of perfect space and send 10 different instruments to each one and if that works for you, then that's the proper way to use it. It all depends.

Think of it in terms of your band actually in that hall with your instruments close miced,  you put a stereo pair out in the auditorium to pickup some reverb.  You experiment moving the room mics around the hall to see where it sounds best.

This is what the various files represent in Perfect space.  Try them all then pick the one that sounds the best for you.

Actually, I have recently been finding that I do not use Perfect Space enough - it really does have some sweet tweakable presets...
