Sonar doesn't remember ACT-changes in PC
I'm no nubie to ACT and I've had no problems with this before, but since the X1d-update, Sonar doesn't remember changes I make to the ACT mappings on the PC-modules. This is really frustrating, since the mappings for the 3rd party mudules are terrible... (It's not only changes to the 3rd party-modules Sonar forgets about, though) Anyone else out there with this problem, or am I the only one? Cheers /L

I have had the same problems and great News - it's easily fixed. However, I'm posting from my phone so I'll just leave a link to another forum thread by John T where you'll find the remedy further down somewhere. Sorry I can't give you a detailed description but typing lengthy posts on my phone is irritating But check this out: http://forum.cakewalk.com...p;settheme=Blue%20Cake I hope this will sort you out

Well.. Unfortunately not! =/ The thing is: Sonar doesn't seem to remember the right ACT-mappings on PC-modules you've chosen as default for PC.. For exampel. I've got the PC2A module in my "default for tracks" PC-set up. When I insert a new audio track and then try to control the PC2A with act, it doesn't work. However... If i remove the PC2A and insert it again it DOES work as it should. Is this a general bug, or something happening on just my system?

Overall ACT works fine here with Pro Channel and other 3part plugins. Never used it with the PC2A though so I don't know...?

Now that sounds messed up Well, dunno what to say to that. But it works otherwise with other modules?

this problem affects all PC-modules that aren't included in SonarX1 from the start.. so.. concrete limiter, saturationknob (softube), the softube mixbundle and so on.. and again.. the mappings work perfectly when you insert the modules in the prochannel. it's ONLY when you have these modules included as default and when creating a new track/bus that the mappings don't work.. ..if removed and re-inserted on the track/bus these modules work fine again it's a shame, cuz i really love the PC2A and would love to have it as a default module in the PC

That is really weird. At first your problem sounded simmilar to what John T, my self and a few others experienced and after following the steps in the thread I linked to all problems were gone. However, I just tried to set the PC2A and the Softube Focusing EQ as default modules - I haven't messed with that before - and I noticed the same as you are describing. Weird! And I have no explanation for this behaviour. But in my case I had the PC2a working as expected but the Focusing EQ and FET Compressor didn't catch on to ACT at all. I tried to save a track template and drop into a project - worked as expected. At this point I can only suggest that you use a track template with the modules of your choice that you can easily drop into TV when you need a new track. And perhaps a bug report should be sent in.
