NEED HELP! Strange sounds and out of time recording!

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased SonarX1 Essential and am having trouble with the sound and recording.

First of all, there is a strange sound whenever i playback anything, as though the gain is too high. However, the gain is fine and even the loops in the audio library have this strange sound too. I know it is nothing to do woth my speakers or my interface because I am able to play sounds through them perfectly. It only seems to happen when I play sounds through SonarX1.

Also, when I record sound it seems to be out of time and sluggish, and slows down gradually as it plays. This happens even though I have recorded the instrument/voice at the correct tempo.

I have a Windows 7 64bit OS.

Any help would be very much appreciated as I have NO idea what to do!

Thanks

Make sure your sample rates match between the project and your audio interface.
Make sure your audio interface has good Win 7 64 bit drivers
Make sure you try using ASIO and WDM driver modes and determine which one works best for you

What interface are you using?  It sounds like a bitrate problem.
