Clips/Loops - finding original folder location

Some help on the below please. I work with a lot of loops and once they are in the track I'd love to be able to find the original folder location by clicking on the loop or clip. In other DAWs there is the ability to right click (or similar) on the clip in the track and part of the "properties" information is which folder it is located in. Does anyone know if there is a way of doing this in Producer X1?

    Jonny.welecome to the forum,
not sure i understand what your saying but,
do you use the browser for dragging your loops into the projects?

all your sample content is located in
C:/cakewalk content/audio library or midi library

unless of ofcourse your talking about rex files, they are somewhere else.

read up a little bit on the browser and play with the buttons, everything i think your asking is right in front of you,all the midi loops/audio loops/session drummer 3 content, exc, all of it.its right there in the browser and its path is as easy as clicking the back button to see where its file location truely is.

theres also a way to save your favorite locations, when your in a certain section you like click the save button in the browser.
    it will save that location.
i think i understand your question, you want to be able to know the exact location of each clip.
and that isnt as easy as you think.
they are marked sometimes with a tag(on the loop itself)but to me this is almost impossible to trace.
sorry i couldnt give you more info, hopefully someone else has a little more to offer.

Thanks Charlie. Appreciate you taking the time to reply. Just to clarify - I do use the Media browser to drag loops into the track view and have saved a lot of different sample content to "favorite" locations - and have these indexed under the drop-down box in the Media tab. I have thousands of loops/clips I've made myself, or bought, and there are often say 10 drum clips with a small beat variation - say "Jonny 1", "Jonny 2" etc - and I've almost finalized my track but decide that "Jonny 2" drum clip would sound better than the "Jonny 1" clip I currently have in the track. Due to the fact that "Jonny 2" is somewhere deep within the 1000's of clip folders I have (but will be in the same folder as "Jonny 1" I'm looking for a way of clicking the "Jonny 1" clip on the Track for it to give me the information about its origin - which might then lead me to something like "D:\Sounds\Clip Pools\Drums\Jonny Drums, where i can find the drum clips "Jonny 1-10"... Sony Acid, for example, allows this by right-clicking on the clip in the Track and choosing "Clip Properties" to show where the clip resides/came from.
