Blood on the saddle. Stage 3.

If you've never seen why bicycle racers seem like thugs... take a look at the end of stage 3 of the Giro d Italia Today.

One guy actually bunny hopped or jumped over Mr. Cavendish before the pack started running over the unlucky.

Wicked intense competition.

I paid for a online video feed... you'll have to search out your own links.

I'll bet the video will be all over the place.

wow,the comentaters are on fire as well, listen around 5:10,right before the accident'e.
one thing i failed to recognize was these bikers, they are flying fast, and the stamana is just amazing,
    i live off a bike trial(a 10 ft. wide paved,by 24 miles long)
takes you through the contry side right in to boston.

i do think alot of the cyclist need to be a bit more courtesy to drivers of vehicles,at least around where i live, they will drive in the middle of the road and even a small honk on the horn they turn around flailing their arms in discust(like "your breaking my momentum")
they also use the bike trial like its the practice run for the tour de france.
and there is nothing wrong with that except the fact last year, one cyclist hit a younger child(he must have been doing 25 miles an hour.
wipped the kid out, broke his color bone, leg, ribs.
    it was ugly.
the police gave him a ticket for reckless endangerment.
but it goes to show, the compititon is ferce.
    what a sport.

Blood where the saddle should be.

That could be seen as ambiguous without the accent.

Don't let Daryl see it like that.

Mama Mia indeed!  When you ride you become very adept at bunny hopping, but those quick reflexes were amazing.  Did they say what the injuries were?

It's hard to say... when Mr. Cavendish put his bike on his shoulder and walked the last few meters to the finish line I was thinking that he was probably thinking about adding a certain someone to the injured list.

Ah, didn't notice that that was him carrying the bike.  Tough job being a sprinter!
