How to use the arpeggiator in Sonar X1 Producer

I have read everything in the help section on how to use the arpeggiator in Sonar X1 and still have no clue how it works. I have the 5 hour tutorial and the advanced tutorial from Cakewalk, but the arpeggiator is not even mentioned in either of them. I called Cakewalk tech support today and they could not help either. Are there any resources out there that would take a novice step-by-step through the use of the arpeggiator?
