Can't hear Superior Drummer

I recently had to reload SD after my computer crashed, and I can hear and play the drums in Toontrack Solo but not in X1. I have the path set correctly, but it doesn't seem to load in Sonar. I'm still on version 2.2.1, and I downloaded the latest version (2.3), but I haven't figured out how to upgrade. I have downloaded everything to its default path, so where do I go from here? Thanks in advance for any replies.

All the best,
Lynn

    Hi Lynn,

I just installed SD2 and the update. All works fine in Sonar X1d here. I used the below link to help me with the upgrade to 2.3:

Hopefully, it can help get you going also.

    If not,
You said it does not load in sonar, what exactly does it do? Did you do a rescan of the VST's?

    Kind regards,
    Rick

    "Lynn"
I recently had to reload SD after my computer crashed...

I'm a tad perplexed as you seem to imply that you had it installed and working fine prior to your computer crash. Perhaps I'm reading it wrong?

I have the path set correctly, but it doesn't seem to load in Sonar.

Meaning that you've made sure that Sonar is scanning the folder where SD2's VST DLL is located? If memory serves me well, version 2.21 is only 32 bit, which would of installed by default in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\VSTPlugins folder. Is this the path you're referring to?
