64 bit upgrade info in one place?

This is a great forum, lots of good advice on the inevitable 64 bit upgrade path/problems/advantages...
As I have searched this forum for many hours, and found quality info...any way to consolidate this topic in one place? A sticky?
If there is one I might have missed it.
I am currently building out a 64 bit "B" system...and very much appreciate all the relevant info.
One thing I am hazy on...creating a separate 64 bit plug-in folder...why is that needed again?
Thanks in advance.

you dont need to,(make a 64 bit folder for your vst's)
use the C:/program files/cakewalk/vst plugins  folder.
for your 32 bit plug ins use C:/program files (86)/cakewalk/vst plug ins (you need to make this folder.)

aim all your vst's at these respected folders pg for 64/pg(86)for 32 bit.
dont think your going to get a stickey but you can keep this thread rolling and i will answer as much as i can for you along with other here as well.

what is this "B" thing you speak of?

    Thanks fer da info!
I should have stated I was building a second or "B" system, since I currently use my 32 Bit "A" rig.
THankfully I have the time to build this with no pressure or deadline, so I want to get it right.
