Audio Interface problem with X1d expanded

Hi all,
I have a bit of a problem since installing X1d expanded.  This did not happen before.  If I leave Sonar open but do not use it for a while (like half and hour or so) it will disconnect from the audio interface. It gives me an error message that says "Unable to open the audio playback device. Device may not support the current project's audio format or may be in use."   The only way to reconnect to the audio device is to close down X1 and restart it.  I have an asus i7 system.  I use the MOTU 2408 original interface.  Again, it did not happen before X1d.  It was fine under c.  Is this happening to anyone else, or do you have any suggestions for me.   Even if I open preferences and refresh the MOTU interface, it will not play.  I have to totally close Sonar and restart it.

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.  I have not, as of yet, contacted Cakewalk support.  I thought I would come to you as you all seem to have great ideas.

Dave.

Dave, Sounds like your computer is dropping power to the device and it is going away.  Have you checked your computer's power saver settings?

That is a good thought.  However, the MOTU 2408 is powered by ac to the core unit and then there is a proprietary firewire card in the computer.  I will definately check the power settings, but I am not sure how it would drop power to the card.

    Thanks.

Well, I change the power settings to performance ( I am using Win 7 64 bit - I guess I should have said that in the beginning).  So, it is the highest power setting there is.  However, again, withing 15 minutes of not using Sonar, it stops reading that it is there.  Now, I can go into edit, preferences, open the asio panel and refresh the card and it will refresh.  However, sonar will still not read that it is there.  Same error message each time.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

Also, I was just working in Sonar and the strangest thing happened.  I was messing around with the arpeggiator, trying to figure out how to use it.  I was using Dimension Pro to feed the track and playing one root note to start the arpeggio.  Then I hit the start button to being playback of the song that I had loaded and I immediately got the error message, even though I was playing the Dimension pro at the time.  Weird.
