Drum Midi Help

Hi!

I have been exporting drum tabs from Guitar Pro to midi files, I would like to use them is sonar but with the sound/kits provided form SD. I have tried dragging it into the midi section of SD but that only allows me 32 beats... and dragging it directly into the SD track doesnt seem to work either...

Is there a specific way of doing something like this??
Thnx

Turn the clip into a Groove Clip (right click - select Groove Clip Looping) and then you can drag it out for as many measures as you like.

your using sonar ? you could drag  / load the midi into that..

then just start up an instance of SD  and drag the midi onto that specific track..
hopefully thats what you mean and it'll play.

with SD there is a folder with midi files, you have to put it in that / refresh the browser (f5) and it'll list it , IF your just wanting to start / stop trigger it..

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Session Drummer 3\Contents\Patterns
    or
    C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Session Drummer 3\Contents\Patterns

    normally.
