Omnisphere App for Ipad

I have the new Ipad and wanted to get this working. I enabled the Omni TR Connections, I am on the same network and I have bonjour installed. I am using the 64 bit Sonar X1 Producer. When I hit the Connect button nothing shows up on the screen. Just curious what to do. Thanks

Also I read that it has issues with 64 bit. I will try the 32 bit version when I get home. Just curious if anyone has had this problem.

It works OK for me with Win7 x64 and 64 bit SONAR.

My PC is connected to the router via ethernet and the ipad is connected via wi fi - but it works OK.

Maybe check that the bonjour service is runing OK? No firewall or anything?

Yea, I made sure Bonjour was installed correctly and turned my firewall on and off and still no connection. Its weird. I really want to play around with this. There are so many things you can do with it. I am going to play with it some more when I get home. Hopefully I can get it to work. UGH

It's one of those things that either "just works" or doesn't ;-)

At least you know it *should* work - ie 64 bit isn't the problem.

True, I know a lot of people have got it to work and Spectrasonics didn't really help me at all. They just said check your firewall. So I will update later. Thanks

Alright, well after a lot of playing around finally got it to work. It turns out that mobile devices (Ipad is considered that in Windows) have issues with 64 bit Operating Systems. I had to download a 32 bit driver to get it to work on the 32 bit version of Omnishpere. I am looking for a 64 bit driver when I get off of work. Hopefully there is one out there. At least I finally got it to work on 32 bit. Hopefully this helps a few people because I have seen people with the same issue.

Ok one more update, I got it to work in both 32 and 64 bit but now sounds don't show up. They show up in the program on my computer but not on the ipad. Ugh
