Controller hosed on update...

Okay, it's not a "A" controller but an Edirol PCR (300). But if anyone can help I would be very grateful. I just attempted an update to ver 1.05 via Roland's UpdSMF program and after several tries with no success, my controller will not even turn on (unless, I flip the switch on the bottom). Can anyone please, please, please, help me?
