Overall volume
I am using a Presonus Vls44 interface. I have my tracks all bounced down to 4 tracks labeled: Mains, Lead, Drums, Click. They are routed to the 4 outs of the interface. I have a FOH channel on my power amp, and a monitor channel. All 4 outs are routed to the FOH and monitor sends except the click. It is only in the monitor. I am not using any busses. I have it set up this way for these reasons. 1. I do a solo and duo show, so the lead can be muted when I work with a guitarist covering the leads. 2. The click only comes through the monitor and the audience can't hear it. 3. I play gigs with low volume and also high energy needs. I need the drums to be back in the mix for the soft gigs, and loud for the dancing gigs. 4. Depending on the volume of the gig, I tweak the outs for max sound quality. Here's my question: Can you think of a way to have the 4 outs still independent, but have an overall volume bus or control?
