My first EZKeys experience

Went pretty good.

I used portions of the new Pop/Rock pack.

I did some manual editing.

Took about 30 minutes to do a 4 minute too. I imagine with more experience it will take less time.

I'm happy with the tool.

Update:
I was given the OK to post a sniprt.

Note: I'm using Ivory not the supplied EZKeys piano. Still need to do more editing. I purposely mixed the piano at high level for this.

    Hi

How about posting a clip of the song then? I toyed with the demo but it left me underwhelmed in terms of content and edit options. I'd like to revisit though as it could be a very useful tool.

How do you like the Pop/Rock midi pack?  I haven't seen it yet.  Are there grooves where there is comping on a base chord for more than a bar?  One of my requests was that the chord changes should always be in the 2 beat range.  IOW, a lot of time you need to groove on a chord for 2 - 4 bars before you change.  I'd like to be able to do that without creating a pattern from half a bar and getting a very repetitive feel.

This is not my song. I am producing for someone else so I cannot post it just yet. When the song is complete I'll ask if I can post it.

I have not inspected all the patterns but of the few that I did, I seem to recall that there were some 2 beat chord changes and once I saw a 3 beat comp with a 4th beat chord change.

I ordered the pop/rock pack but am having problems with Toontrack servers for days to buy or download it- so I went to Time-space to buy it, but still can't download it from Toontrack!!

Maybe I'll finally get my paid product one of these days. Other than that I have really liked what I've seen and heard with ezkeys.

Yeah, I'm thinking my ez piano needs to be replaced with the 8Dio 1928 Steinway. That would really elevate the sound to a new level of realism and sparkle.

Just curious Bapsi, are you using a real live drummer on this track?

It's not my song or project. I'm more or less producing the tracks as they were delivered, but yes it's a live drummer (triggers to MIDI I believe).
