How do I manually input/set the Now Time?

This is driving me a little batty, been searching for the answer for a couple of hours.

How do I manually input the Now Time in X1?

Prior to X1, I could just click the Now Time and set it with my keypad so it was fast to jump around but now clicking Now Time just switches between measures and seconds, etc.  There must be a way to manually input the Now Time.  How?

I just use the mouse by clicking on the point I want to goto in the time line at the bottom of it.

X1 has forced me to do the same but it's not very efficient to have to zoom all the way in to get the exact point every time I want to move around, especially if I already know where I want to go.

Does anyone know how to manually input/set the Now Time?

I do, Press "g" and it will bring up the "go to" menu. also if you press the Help tab in the Go to menu it will give more options for moving the now time around.

OK I think you are asking something different beyond just going to a point on the time line.

If I want to goto a point with accuracy I use markers. And X1 doesn't force you in any way to zoom in simply to put the now time at a point. If you are after minute accuracy I would put in a feature request for a goto popup.

The 'G' key does it but thanks for trying to help!  Take care!

You can also navigate to a specific point by setting the Snap To interval and mouse click where you want to go.

Did not know that one soens! Must try that out.

Clicking the mouse, using "g", "w" and "cntrl w" and markers are ways I move around as well. In terms of markers, keybinding the L/R arrow keys for previous/next was an intuitive way to work in terms of moving around a project fast!

One more while we're on the subject of moving about. I really like that my timeline can be anywhere in the song and I can drag click a selection away from the timeline and press "shift g" to jump to the start of that selection. Must step away from the coffee and stop typing now.
